Scaling a small campus program into a 400+ person technology event.
This was not only event execution. It was an exercise in rebuilding momentum, aligning people, raising funds, and turning an under-recognized program into a national-scale technology experience.

40+ committee members across eight divisions · IEEE Student Branch UI
Techtonic 2.0 was a technology program spanning seminars, competitions, and workshops. I inherited more than a schedule: I had to help rebuild confidence in an initiative that previously reached roughly twelve participants.
As Project Officer, I led more than forty committee members across eight divisions. The work moved constantly between strategy and detail: positioning the program, coordinating dependencies, raising funds, resolving internal friction, and protecting the participant experience.
I led eight divisions through planning and delivery, coordinated seminars, competitions, and workshops, and helped secure approximately IDR 15M in sponsorship within roughly IDR 30M total funds.
How I moved through the work.
Reset the scale
We treated the previous turnout as a signal to rethink positioning, audience, partnerships, and the relationship between each event format.
Create operating rhythm
Eight divisions needed shared priorities and clear handoffs. I led coordination across program, competition, workshop, sponsorship, media, logistics, and participant-facing work.
Earn external trust
I helped turn the plan into a credible proposition for sponsors and partners, contributing to approximately IDR 15 million in sponsorship and roughly IDR 30 million in total funds.
The choices that shaped the result.
- Frame Techtonic as a complete technology experience rather than a collection of unrelated events
- Use measurable participation and funding targets to align divisions
- Balance ambitious scale with enough operational detail to keep delivery credible
- Lead through division owners instead of trying to personally control every task

Execution

The visible result is 12 to 400+ participants. The deeper result was learning that scale comes from a system of people, incentives, communication, and trust. Leadership here meant making the whole committee more capable, not becoming the center of every decision.
